The 3rd Joint Project Monitoring Committee (JPMC) meeting for the Gyalsung Infrastructure Project was held in Thimphu on 24 December 2024. The Bhutanese delegation was led by Mr. Tshering Dorji, Director, Department of Macro-Fiscal and Development Finance, Ministry of Finance, Royal Government of Bhutan, and the Indian delegation was led by Shri. Amit Kumar Mishra, Director (North), Ministry of External Affairs.
The Committee reviewed the various components of the project including the Desuung for Gyalsung Programme. The Indian delegation reaffirmed the continued support of the Government of India for the project. The Bhutanese delegation expressed gratitude for the GoI’s steadfast support and the instrumental role it played in the successful launch of the historic National Service programme this year.
